When is the best time to visit Khao Sok?
Khao Sok is beautiful all year round. The dry season (November to April) is perfect for long jungle hikes, while the rainy season (May to October) brings beautiful waterfalls, lush greenery, and stunning misty mornings over Cheow Lan Lake.
Is there cellular coverage and internet?
Khao Sok Village has good 4G and 5G signals on most major Thai networks (AIS, True). However, once you travel deep onto Cheow Lan Lake, cell coverage is virtually non-existent, offering a peaceful digital detox.
Are there wild tigers or dangerous animals?
While the park has diverse wildlife like gibbons, hornbills, and wild elephants, they live deep in the jungle away from trails. Experienced rangers will guide all treks to ensure 100% safety.
